Jumhoory Party will establish a reliable health care system - Qasim

Jumhoory party’s leader and presidential candidate Qasim Ibrahim has stated that a government formed by Jumhoory coalition will establish a reliable health care system. JP’s leader made the statement while answering a question

When asked what were the JP’s plans to improve the country’s health care system, as according to many, the citizens of the country has no faith in the present system due to inadequate services available, Qasim said that establishing a proper, efficient and a reliable health care system is top priority of any government in any country and as such Jumhoory government will establish a such a health care system which will work for the people. Qasim said his government will listen to the people in their quest to serve the country.

“A proper health care system is the top priority of any government in any country, the first thing a human being needs is good health, then comes education, a person however educated he may be, is not going to be of much use to the country, if he not in good health or is not fit, for that matter he is not going much use even to himself, let alone for the country, by will of Almighty , our government will establish a reliable and an efficient health care system that is workable for the people” Qasim said.

Qasim also said revealed that a Jumhoory government will establish regional hospitals, to afford same levels of service as in Male’ in 4 regions of the country. He said he has heard the peoples call for better and improved health services and that he will fail his people.

“Majority of our people are in need of proper health services, the people are not satisfied with the services provided in Indhiraa Ghandi Memorial Hospital. Lack of adequate facilities and lack of rooms to admit the patients are daily complaints, JP’s manifesto details on how the party will tackle this issue, by the will Almighty Allah JP will establish hospitals in atolls to provide same or better levels of health services. JP has plans to establish 4 regional hospitals” Qasim revealed.

Qasim further said the task is not impossible and that a system of health care which the people can be satisfied with and be proud of, can be established with ease.
