Male',Maldives:Adhaalathu Party President Sheikh Hussain Rasheed has said that Christianity and other religions were introduced to Maldives by Ma. Kinbigasdhoshugey Maumoon Abdul Gayoom.
Sheikh Hussain Rasheed said like this while speaking at the joint coalition rally held last Wednesday night at Addu Atoll Muhibbuddeen School.
Speaking at the rally, Sheikh Hussain Rasheed said that Christianity and other religions were introduced to Maldives by the government under Maumoon’s plot.
Hussain Rasheed has said that the country is facing a huge examination and Maumoon has started work to deceive elderly people.
“(They are saying that) Nasheed is going to introduce Christianity here. What I want to tell to the Maldivians is that Nasheed has not yet been the President of Maldives. Who ruled the country in the past 30 years? Who introduced Christianity here in the past 30 years? There is no Christianity for any other one to introduce here. All religions have been introduced here by Maumoon” said Sheikh Hussein Rasheed.
Hussain Rasheed said that he would prove this at court if Maumoon files a lawsuit.
