President Mohamed Nasheed yesterday announced his government’s administrative structure. The Ministries included in the administrative structure are; Ministry of Finance and Treasury; Ministry of Defense and National Security; Ministry of Home Affairs; Ministry of Education; Attorney General’s Office; Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Ministry of Health and Family; Ministry of Economic Development ;Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture; Ministry of Human Resource, Youth and Sports; Ministry of Housing, Transport and Environment; Ministry of Fisheries and Agriculture; Ministry of Civil Aviation and Communication and Ministry of Islamic Affairs.
Speaking at the ceremony to announce the administrative structure of the Government, President Nasheed said that he would send his proposed structure to People’s Majlis on Tuesday. He also urged the People’s Majlis to finalize the proposed structure as soon as possible.
