On Thursdays session of the People’s Majlis has approved the five nominees proposed by President Nasheed to the Civil Service Commission (CSC).
In accordance with second amendment to Maldivian Civil Service Act (Act number 5/2007) the Majlis opened applications for the membership of CSC on 4th June 2010.
Majlis Committee on independent institutions deliberated on the applications, and proposed names for the approval of the Majlis yesterday.
After debates on the proposal the nominees endorsed by the Majlis were: Dr Mohamed Latheef, M.A Kinbi; Mohamed Fahmee Hassan, G. Kokkiri; Ahmad Hassan Didi, G. New Waves; Abdullah Jihad and Khadheeja Adam, G. Alafaru
